AA Media Studios – How to Extend Background in Photoshop | For Beginners
Steps:
1- Open your image in Photoshop.
2- Right-click on the image layer and rasterize it if it’s a smart object. (smart objects are not directly editble)
3- Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool or any selection tool to create a selection.
4- Go to select, select Inverse. You can also use the shortcut key “Shift+Ctrl/Cmnd+I”.
5- Right Click and select “Content Aware Fill”.
6- Right Click again and select Deselect.
7- To remove the spots if requires, select Spot Healing Brush Tool and use it.
PS: There are multiple ways to extend the background of an image.
In this tutorial, I am using Content Aware fill method. You can use any method according to your requirements.
